In addition to our varied stage program, a large exhibition awaits you. In addition to the program participants, you will also meet the founding teams from the pitch, the nominees of the innovation competition, contact persons from various institutes, networks and partners of KIT as well as industrial companies. Take the opportunity to ask your questions to the speakers from the program, network or chat with the many participants over a coffee. You can find an overview of the exhibition here.

The stage program includes exciting presentations and discussions on the topics of innovation, transfer and entrepreneurship. These will be complemented by the tried-and-tested start-up pitch including the award ceremony, the announcement of the winners of the NEULAND innovation competition, a keynote speech from the industry and a contribution from our premium sponsor. After the end of the official stage program, we will end the evening together with a cultural supporting program and plenty of opportunities for networking.

Catering will be provided at the Innovation Day, both during the day and in the evening at the networking event. We offer a colorful mix of dishes in order to satisfy different wishes. The high quality of the food is just as important to us as its regional origin.

The Innovation Day will take place on June 12, 2024. We will start the day with the opening by the Vice President Transfer and International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth, at 11 a.m. - enough time for a relaxed arrival or a morning coffee. The founder pitch is a highlight of the Innovation Day. Six young teams from the start-up scene will give their best on stage. A jury of investors will then critically scrutinize and evaluate the ideas and announce the winning team at the award ceremony. Further information about the pitch teams can be found in the program.

Scientific employees had until February 29, 2024 to submit their ideas for the NEULAND Innovation Contest 2024. The competition will come to a festive conclusion with the award ceremony at the Innovation Day. The top three winners of the Innovation Award will receive their well-deserved awards and prize money in front of the jury and the audience.

What do innovation and technology have to do with art and culture? A lot! For the first time, we are also creating a symbiosis of science and art with the Innovation Day and supporting the freedom of thought as a central theme of the Year of Science 2024 with this interdisciplinary approach. Let us surprise you with the aspects we are integrating into the Innovation Day in the form of lectures and a supporting program.

The Innovation Day 2024 will take place on the grounds of KIT's Campus South. The stage program will take place in a large marquee on the forecourt of the Audimax. In the foyer of the Audimax you will find the large exhibition.

After the last digital and hybrid versions of the Innovation Day, this time we have once again deliberately opted for a purely face-to-face event. We want to engage with you in a personal exchange, network and make the event a great experience. If you do not have the opportunity to come to Karlsruhe, we will make the presentations from the program available as a digital recording afterwards.

The presentations in the stage program are divided into the topics Greener, Digital and Healthier. In each of the three focus areas, three speakers will give short keynote speeches, which will be brought together under a central theme in a subsequent joint discussion. In order to provide the broadest possible overview of the topics, the presentations will cover various stages of innovation, from basic development and application-oriented further development through to founding or product development.
